We went to the childcare to confirm isaac's commencement date. Was wondering if isaac's been confirmed a placing or did the principal totally forgotten about it. She went back to her office and took out isaac's application form which we submitted in march. Good thing we paid that deposit in march coz the centre is fully booked for 2008 and 2009! My mum's neighbour tried to place her grandchildren last mth and was informed that they are full.
Had a discussion with sharong (the principal) and confirmed to let isaac start on the lst day of nov, though sharon suggested 15th as this will be a new class with new kids, new to the centre. So the whole class will be filled with cranky kids and sharon said by the 15th, everything shd calmed down. But isaac will also be cranky ma if he go on the 15th, might as well be cranky all together on the 1st. I'm keeping my fingers crossed on whether he can adapt to this new environment but I'm sure all these takes time.. I'm giving myself a "havoc" period of bout 3-6mths for him to slowly adapt so this period i told myself to be damn patient with him.. Surely he'll be very angry with me when i pick him up in the evening and cranky in the middle of the nite, but all symptons are common among kids who just started childcare life as mentioned by sharon. So patience is the word.
