Isaac's Childcare - Day 5 (7 Nov Friday)

Dint sleep well last nite and i slept late ard 2am due to separation anxiety but i woke up at 7am to prepare isaac's milk and medication.

Isaac woke up a very happy boy (could be becoz he din't go childcare yest ba) and was riding his car everywhere. I prepared his stuff and carried him to the childcare ctr.

The moment we entered the centre, he started to cry very loud and i got to carry him as the teacher test his temperature. We then met teacher huiling and isaac stopped crying and say "yee yee". Huiling carried him and brought him to take breakfast. Today they are serving cereal cornflakes. Isaac love it and was seated on huiling's leg thruout. But isaac did attempt to start crying when i leave a while to bring him his water. Cindy just reached the ctr and i told her not to bath isaac today. I also told her to feed isaac med and went to fill up the med form with instruction. Isaac did whine everytime i walk away. Then i asked huiling is this the best time for me to leave? And she said yes. I bid goodbye to my baby and told him mummy will be back at 4pm to pick him up. He can sensed something wrong and cried very loud with his mouth filled with cornflakes. Makes me very very very heartache very xin ku.

As i about to walk out, the principal saw me and we greeted. We had a good chat bout dealing with separation anxiety and handling kids who are 1st exposed to childcare life. As we chat, i can no longer hear isaac's cries (sigh.. good) Principal sharon had previously told me what i'll be expecting but only tat time, i can't feel anything yet. But she say we'll both get over it soon. I also told her bout isaac's nitemares and crying in the nite, she mentioned all these are normal. It's part of adapting to childcare life. I really all these would passed very quickly..

Later i'll be picking up isaac early ard 4pm... Now find tat time goes sooo slowly.. Sigh.. seems like i'm the one harder to get over this stage
