The New Baby Incentive Scheme

Govt improving the bb incentive scheme as announced by PM Lee HL at the ND Rally on 17 Aug 2008.

• Paid maternity leave extended from 12wks to 16wks.. (woo.. shiok!)

• Paid childcare leave extended from 2days to 6days if the child is below seven years of age on or after 1 7 Aug 2008

• New Infant care Leave if the child is below two years of age on or after 17 Aug 2008

This scheme is so attractive but it's announced at the wrong timing for me... sobs sobs.... coz i'll be looking for a job in Nov and with this new implementation, i'm gonna hv a hard time looking for a nice job... Well... wish me luck then
