Viewing of tiles for Reno

Khoo suggest to bring us to the showroom to view the tiles to have a rough guide of wat kind of tiles we'll be expecting. So after isaac's enrichment lesson, we went to IMM to meet khoo.

Khoo brought us to the showroom and there's so many tiles to choose! Just browsing thru the homogenous tiles for the living & dining area alone is a big headache. I'm not really into fanciful or wild design so the one tat i chose is clean n simple with 1streak (dun think you'll notice it unless i tell you where it is) Jason say it's nice!

This is wat i've chosen (can't really see the streak though)

For kitchen, we'll be getting heavy duty homo tiles, most probby in dark grey as in jason's wishes. Top cabinets will be in white glossy laminates, white solid worktop and true dark wench laminate for bottom cabinets. Dun think we'll be getting hanging cabinets. Though it's very nice to have lights underneath the cabinets but sure waste electricity and it'll increase our quotes by fixing lights pts as well.

A nice backsplash in the IN thing now for kitchen reno. At least dun hv to worry about grating using tiles.

We'll be getting a vanity top for MBR toilet and had proposed to khoo tat we wanted something like this:

- Big mirror with lights, white solid surface top (anti-drip) and dark wench laminate cabinet.

Jason wanted a resort theme for MBR toilet so he seriously wanted a black theme so i guess i'll be getting a very dark toilet hehe

Still no concept of the common toilet design. Was impressed by this "premium" tile and mosaic. Khoo mentioned it's at least $8-9, wow! It's a sandy brown colour and goes very well with the "glass-look alike" mosaic. Nice
