Bought a pack of pearl rice frm the taiwan food fest at giant vivo some time back. Realised that it only has a shelf life of 9mths and expiring soon in sep. Just a small pack cost $4+, damn ex. Decided to cook chicken rice for isaac. Outcome? Very good except tat i think i added too much hainanese chicken rice paste. I find it very salty oops... Isaac did manage to eat half a bowl. Better than nothing.
1st time cooking such rice and realised you have to soak the rice for 30min before you can cook it. It's initial colour is translucent and after u soak it, it becomes white!
